Central Australia is in the middle of a desert and as such rain is scarce. Last year we received 77mm of rain. In the last two days we've had over 134mm and it's continuing. I've been away since Thursday with work and it's been great to see the normally dry rivers flow and the floodways fill. I've seen the Finke, Hugh and Todd Rivers flowing! And yes I've taken many, many pictures....

  1. Well I guess 2010 has already really stuck it to 2009 in the rain stakes!
